The annual Rugby Festival was played on last Friday afternoon, and despite the forecast, the rain obliged and held off until the event had concluded. A large number of parents attended to watch the boys participate in tag rugby games against their classmates. Our thanks to Mr. Barry O’Sullivan for all his work in organising the occasion and also to the coaches who expertly refereed the matches and to the teachers who ensured that the afternoon ran off smoothly.
As the rugby season has now concluded, we extend our appreciation to Barry for all his sterling work since September, to the teachers who have been out on the pitches with the boys in all weathers and to the coaches and parents for their invaluable assistance throughout the season.
Hurling, soccer, athletics and hockey will now continue until the summer holidays.
