The amazingly talented boys in Third Form 1, Fourth Form 1 & 2 and Fifth Form 1 recently performed in their Spring Concerts. Third Form1 presented Pirates v Mermaids, Fourth Form 1 presented Dragon Days, Fourth Form 1 presented Daniel, a Hard Act to Swallow while Fifth Form 2 presented Jack and the Beanstalk . On both evenings, the audiences were captivated by the colourful spectacles of wonderful acting, song and dance which reflected the fantastic work of Mr. Stephens, Mr. Lambert, Mr. Brennan and Ms. O’Rourke and the boys in their classes. We are also grateful to Ms. Fitzpatrick, Mrs. McGarry, Ms. Smith, Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Tansey for all their help and support, both in advance of the shows and on the evening, and to Mr. Ruane who operated the lighting.
Parents, siblings and grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the shows and were rapturous in their applause. Sincere thanks to the guests who made very generous donations which amounted to €1052.60, in support of the Pontifical Mission Society Children Helping Childrenand €1330.84 in aid of the drama programme in the school.
