Halloween Narrative Writing

We worked hard to complete our final drafts of our Halloween themed narrative essays this week. Some of these essays will be selected to enter into the school based Halloween Essay competition as our class representative. We are eagerly looking forward to learning which essay Mr. Ruane selects as the overall winning essay in our group. Regardless of the competition, we can all feel a great sense of pride in our work as we have improved our narrative writing skills during this process.

This week, we had the school Christmas plays for First, Second and both Third Forms. They each were excellently performed. Many congratulations to the boys, their teachers and all who helped out.

The boys in 6.1 had a great time investigating whether different foods were a source of the carbohydrate starch or not.
