The students were delighted to invite their grandparents into school during Catholic Schools Week. We prayed for grandparents who are sick in hospital and for grandparents who are in Heaven. We had the opportunity to interview our grandparents.

Learning about Mexico through Art

The students are currently completing a project on Mexico. After discussing the culture of Mexico, we learned why Sombrero hats are popular in Mexico! We created our own Sombrero hats in small groups.

Book Tasting

The students in 5.1 were invited to a 'Book Tasting' event. They were able to 'taste' a number of books during their starter, main course and desert! The students wrote up a book review after 'taste testing' the new books.
