Confirmation
Congratulations to the boys in Sixth Form who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday, March 28th. The Chief Celebrant on the day was past pupil, Msgr. Paul Callan, whose presence greatly enriched the ceremony and who was ably assisted by Fr. Paddy Moran C.S.Sp. & Fr. James Hurley P.P. The boys participated excellently and with reverence throughout the ceremony. Following the Mass, many families returned to the school for photographs and took the opportunity to view the beautiful art which the boys had completed as part of their preparation for the day. They then continued the celebration of this significant milestone with their families.
We are very grateful to Ms. Massey and the choir for the beautiful singing which enhanced the solemnity of the ceremony. The choir was accompanied by Ms. Denise Kelly on harp, to whom we express our appreciation. Our thanks, too, to Mr. Ruane for his help on the day.
Finally, sincere thanks to Mr. Brennan, Mr. O’Neill, Mr. Moore, Mr. Inglis and Ms. Heslin for preparing the boys so thoroughly and for their unwavering guidance to the boys throughout the year.
