The late Fr. Seamus Galvin C.S.Sp.

The death took place on Holy Thursday of Fr. Seamus Galvin C.S.Sp., just days short of his 94th birthday. Fr. Galvin had long associations with the school going back to the 1950s and was responsible for the development programme which included the building of the Swimming Pool and Assembly Hall, both of which the boys continue to benefit from. He had an unwavering commitment to Spiritan education and was a founder member of the Spiritan Education Trust. Fr. Galvin always retained a deep interest in all aspects of the Junior School and we will miss his humour, kindness, wisdom and enthusiasm. He leaves a rich legacy, for which as a school community, we are very grateful. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family and Spiritan Confreres. Go raibh leaba aige i measc na naomh.

It's safe to safe that the return of GAA and rugby has went down well with the boys in 6th Form.
European Sports Day was a great success on Friday. The boys had a great time running their 2020m and were fantastic participants in our discussions on Mental Wellbeing.
