boys-oldNew.teaser.jpgWelcome to Development at St Michael’s College. We are all committed to providing our students with the best education and learning environment to grow and develop into well rounded individuals who will carry the spirit and ethos of St Michael’s College with them as they venture into the world.

Since our foundation in 1944, generations of parents and past pupils have generously contributed to the development and enhancement of the educational and recreational facilities for the boys. In 2014, we launched our latest development campaign, Building on Success, which is ongoing and has been greatly received. We would like to thank all families, friends and individuals who have provided their support in so many different ways towards our campaign and look forward to your continued support.

Much has been accomplished in the last year towards providing our boys with the best possible opportunities to learn, grow, and develop into the finest young men that they can be. As we get no state funding for any of our capital projects, the necessary improvements to the campus are only possible because of the generous support of our community of parents, past parents, former pupils and friends. Thank you to all concerned for your continued support.

If you have any thoughts about our Development Programme, any feedback to date, or new ideas for future projects you would like to share, please get in touch with our Development Manager, Ms Judith Hally who can be contacted directly at 01-2189421, email, or indeed drop into the office, located in the Senior School Admin Office.

The boys and all of their families were extremely generous today with their gifts for the poor. Well done to all of the boys on their prayers, hymns and a special well done to the readers of the prayers of the faithful.
Fr. Paddy visited our class recently and we were so lucky to be shown a sample of frankincense. He brought us a sample from Ethiopia.
The boys have learned more about electricity lately. We learned about both static and current electricity. By using an energy stick we were able to make our own circuit to show that current electricity must flow in a circle.
