Significant tax-relief is available for Irish tax-payers who donate to the St Michael’s College Building on Success development campaign. All donations above €250 per annum qualify for tax benefits as charitable donations.
Under a new scheme introduced under the 2013 Finance Act, your donation can be further enhanced by nearly 45%, simply by completing form CHY3 or CHY4 for those paying tax in the Republic of Ireland.
For example, for every €100 gift we receive from a tax-paying donor, we can reclaim an additional €44.99 from the Revenue Commissioners by submitting either a completed CHY3 or CHY4 form. Thus, if you donate €1,000 per annum to St Michael’s College, your gift is worth €1,449.94 per annum to us, or €7,249.50 over five years.
The table below shows the impact that your monthly or annual donation can have on our Building on Success campaign. These figures have been rounded for display purposes.
