There was great excitement around the classes as they competed in their class Spelling Bee contests to decide who would represent the class in the St. Michael's Spelling Bee contest. Following some practice rounds, all of the boys who emerged successfully from their own class contests then competed against each other in the final. It was a very tight contest and Hugh Cronin emerged as the school champion followed in second place by Patrick De Vreeze and Ben Ryan. Well done to all of the boys who qualified to represent their class in the school final. Thank you also to all of the teachers who supported the initiative and prepared the boys for the final.
