All of the boys in Third Form enjoyed their first rugby blitz of the season this morning. There was great excitement as the boys warmed up and prepared for their matches against local schools such as Willow Park, St. Mary's, St. Gerard's and St. Conleth's. All of the games for our age group were hosted by St.Mary's in Kennilworth Square. The boys all played a minimum of three games, with an emphasis on enjoyment, good sportsmanship and skill development throughout. There were lots of magnificent tackles made and tries scored in what were our very first matches of the season. We can look forward to an exciting season ahead from this group of players! We are very appreciative of all the help from parents of the boys who brought them to the game and also helped with managing and coaching the four teams which we fielded. Thank you also to Barry O'Sullivan who coordinated all of the St.Michael's teams across all four class levels from Third Form to Sixth Form this morning.
