Exploring the Stone Age

Third Form 2 have been studying the Stone Age. They began with a mystery flint exercise, examining various pieces of flint and their potential uses. The students learned about the evolution of shelters and the advent of farming. In art, the boys are creating Stone Age necklaces using clay to replicate bones and teeth.

This week we have been learning all about bugs and insects. We collected some tiny bugs out in the garden and brought them back to look at them under a magnifying glass. They were amazing! We've also been busy making our own minibeasts for our board.
